Promises, Promises

As promised, a picture of Julian.

While we are on the subject of promises made to children and their parents, the other night, Sarah Palin promised the parents of special needs children that, if elected, they would have a "friend and advocate in the White House." She is, after all, the mother to one special needs child as well as the aunt to another and must understand the concerns that the parents of special needs children face. So I can't understand why, as governor of Alaska, she slashed funding for special needs education by 60% (CBS News provides links to the budgets for 2007, 2008, ands 2009).
